About Bob Granholm

Currently Bob is a full time real estate agent with RE/MAX WINE CAPITAL REALTY, OLIVER and has 9 years of specialized experience in dealing with cattle ranches, rural acreages and horse properties. Bob’s success in real estate is demonstrated by his awards from RE/MAX for sales records in achieving 100% Club recognition for 5 separate years in his career.

Bob has a broad range of experience and education including being a graduate of the University of British Columbia (UBC) in electrical engineering as well as a diploma from BCIT as an electronics technologist. In the past, Bob worked 26 years with BC Hydro in various engineering roles including planning, design, project management, and supervision. His last assignment was department Engineering Manager for a staff of 20+ as well as contractors and consultants with responsibility for capital commitments up to 35 million dollars. Bob is still a professional electrical engineer registered in the province of BC.

Some of Bob’s extensive experience including business development and community service are noted as follows: planned, designed, implemented and operated the first neighbourhood pub in Langley (Horse and Rider Pub) 1976; developed 37 lot subdivision in Surrey; speculative house building; manager and operator of a PetroCan store and gas bar; past member (charter) of Brookswood Lions Club; purebred Simmental breeder; assistant 4H leader Otter Beef club; supervisor of 4H beef judging classes at the PNE; Past Vice president Quesnel Cattlemen's Association; Past Vice president and Director of Quesnel Alex Fraser Park Board; Past president and Director of Quesnel Team Roping Club; member of Quesnel Rodeo Club.

Recently after 15 years of ownership of the West Quesnel area BobKat ranch (cow/calf operation) with 409 deeded acres and approximately 12000 acres range Bob sold his ranch and now dedicates all his time to his real estate business.
